Since 1982, Lynn Hunt Gray has put people at the center of her practice. As a former judge and a skilled family law attorney and counselor, Lynn’s passion is pursuing the most beneficial outcomes for her clients. At the same time, she cares deeply about helping each family move forward into the healthiest relationships possible.

Lynn’s unique understanding of legal issues and her caring approach to emotional issues help her effectively guide clients through divorce and other family law matters. Her expertise with complicated property settlements, including the disposition of closely held businesses, family trusts and other detailed financial matters, helps her clients successfully navigate even the most complex situations. Beyond the very public courtroom, Lynn also offers her clients a more discreet option — the Collaborative Law process — where private family law issues remain private.

Lynn grew up in Shreveport, Louisiana, before attending Southern Methodist University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in just three years, graduating cum laude in 1979. She was awarded her juris doctor from SMU in 1982. Lynn lives in Highland Park with her husband, O’Neal Gray, and her children. She is an active member of First United Methodist Church and its outreach ministries and volunteers her time at her children’s schools and with DISD.
